Can I open a Minor account?

Checking and Money Market Accounts:

Can be opened only as a joint account with a parent or guardian. The minor must be at least 15 years of age, able to sign the signature card, and present proper verifiable identification.

Savings and Certificates of Deposit Accounts:

Can be opened only in the minor's name with the minor's Social Security number. The signer will be the parent or guardian.
