What is BankDirect?

Why should someone bank with BankDirect?

How would someone set up an account(s)?

They would go to, visit the "Open an account" section of our site, and fill out and submit the account application form.

There are two options in setting up an account:

  • Customers can fill out and submit the form electronically, print it out, sign it and mail it in to us with their initial deposit, or
  • If they don't have printing capability, they simply indicate so on the application. We will mail them the application to sign and return to us with their initial deposit.
Initial deposits can be made my check, wire transfer or credit card.

Do BankDirect customers receive checks?
