Do BankDirect customers receive checks?

How do customers get cash?

BankDirect customers get cash primarily through ATM networks. They may visit any ATM machine convenient to them, in the PULSE, Cirrus, ACCEL/Exchange network.

Since we don't own any ATMs, we don't charge the $1.00 back end fee most banks charge by not visiting one of their machines.

We also waive the front-end fees for the first four withdrawals a customer makes from ATMs per statement cycle (up to $2.50 per transaction).

The ATM withdrawal limit on a BankDirect account is $500 a day. If a customer needs more cash than that amount, they can request a cashier's check be sent to them in the mail through the Manage section of the site.

Customers can also get cash in ways already familiar to them, for instance cashing checks at the grocery store or writing a check for more than the amount to receive cash back.
